What frustrations led workers like Henryka kryzwonos in Poland to demand an independent Union?
aivan3 [116]

The workers in Poland had a miserable life . They were having no civil liberties, no control over factories, no right to strike, low wages etc. Trade Unions did not protect their rights or work for their welfare as they were controlled by Communist Party. So these trade unions used to enforce the rule of the Govt. which led workers like Henryka Kryzwonos to strike and demand an Independent Union.

The workers began to protest in 1980. The tactics used by them include sit-in strike at shipyards, shutdown of railway traffic and most importantly "Solidarity" which brought a revolution in the history of Poland.

Discuss four main ideas of critical rationalism and its application in the class
HACTEHA [7]
For the purpose of this discussion, critical rationalism is defined as the way that we should approach knowledge. Critical rationalism believes that we don't have the ultimate answers and we should continue searching for them. It is modest. The search for the truth is the highest ideal. Critical rationalism does not include the need to justify your ideas. Existing rules and methods of scientific research are seen as inhibiting the search for new ideas.
Critical Rationalism can be applied in the classroom by allowed every student the right to an opinion. His opinion can be criticised by other students. Through open discussion, students will learn to pursue knowledge.
