Since the actual length is x m and breadth is y m, then;

i.               x ≥ 20 m or x ≤ 20 m

ii.              y ≥ 13 m or y ≤ 13 m

(b) perimeter of the playground = 2 (length + breadth)

                                                     = 2 ( 20 + 13)

                                                     = 2 x 33

                                                     = 66 m

The range of values of the perimeter = 65.4 m < perimeter < 66.5 m

ii. area of the playground = length x breadth

                                          = 20 x 13

                                         = 260 $m^{2}$

The range of values of the area = 259.4 $m^{2}$ < Area <  260.5 $m^{2}$
