Answer: The correct answer is silent mutation . In this type of mutation there is no change in  the phenotype of the individual which means there occurs a mutation where two different amino acid codes for the same protein .There are sequences present in the body where a point mutation occurs but the protein formed is still the same .If you will see the genotype you can easily observe that the amino acid sequence is different but the protein formed is same. Example AAA codes for lysine and the amino acid lysine is formed by AAG .

What determines whether a phenotype occurs more frequent or not in certain population?
avanturin [10]

Adaptation

The idea of "survival of the fittest" applies here. The phenotypes of the organisms the survive are the ones that get passed on to future generations while those of organisms who die off do not pass their phenotypes. Only the phenotypes that are better suited to the environment get passed on and, therefore, occurs more frequently in their populations.

Most countries have outlawed whaling, but some countries have few or no laws protecting whales. Why are conservation groups push
lbvjy [14]
The answer to this question is C. Unrestricted whaling could lead to their extinction. Conservation groups are pushing for worldwide restrictions on whaling because whales could be endangered due to whaling and it will risk the decrease of their numbers as a species.
