I did know of the understanding of math high school?

4. The x-coordinate of the solution is 9.
5. The y-coordinate of the solution is −8 .
6.The ordered pair that is the solution to the system lies in Quadrant IV .
Proof:
Solve the following system:
{4 x + 3 y = 12 | (equation 1)
{2 x + 3 y = -6 | (equation 2)
Subtract 1/2 × (equation 1) from equation 2:
{4 x + 3 y = 12 | (equation 1)
{0 x+(3 y)/2 = -12 | (equation 2)
Multiply equation 2 by 2/3:
{4 x + 3 y = 12 | (equation 1)
{0 x+y = -8 | (equation 2)
Subtract 3 × (equation 2) from equation 1:
{4 x+0 y = 36 | (equation 1)
{0 x+y = -8 | (equation 2)
Divide equation 1 by 4:
{x+0 y = 9 | (equation 1)
{0 x+y = -8 | (equation 2)
Collect results:
Answer: {x = 9 , y = -8
B=brianne present age
c=camila present age
b=3c (brianne is three times as old as camila)
b+4=2(c+4) (four years from now she will be two times as old as Camila)
b + 4 = 2c + 8
b = 2c + 8 - 4
b = 2c + 4
Replace b with 3c
3c = 2c + 4
3c - 2c = 4
c = 4
Camila is four years old.
b+4=2c+8
b=2(4)+4
b=8+4
b=12
Brianne is 12 years old.
8-5=3
19-11=8
3/8=0.375
Rate of Change: 0.375
Alright, so for AB and CD to be parallel, CX and DX would have to be equal, as is with AX and BX. In addition, for CD and AB to be parallel, all sides in both triangles are either equal or not all sides in even one triangle are equal. Therefore, CD is not 3. In addition, two sides of a triangle combined must be greater than the third, so that leaves 5, 4, and 2 for CD. If it was 5, that would mean that all sides are equal, so that leaves 4 and 2. However, I don't see anything to prove either one right, sorry:/
