1. Switch y and x.
x = 10y^2 - 4
2. Isolate y.
x + 4 = 10y^2
(x + 4)/(10) = y^2
y = sqrt[(x + 4)/(10)]
3. Replace y with f^-1(x)
f^-1(x) = sqrt[(x + 4)/(10)]
