Move the decimal point one space to the right

12*10=120            12=12.0 move the decimal one space to the right=120

You can also just add 0 if there isn't a decimal point

13.5*10=135                        move the decimal one space to the right

add a zero at the end of the number. 5x10=50. 60x10=600. 700x10=7000 etc.
