Mathematics

The slope is the change in Y divided by the change in X.

You would need to know the coordinates of 2 points ( X1,Y1) and (X2,Y2), then subtract : Y2 - Y1 divided by X2- X1.

In order to find slope, you put have four points (x1, y1), (x2, y2). Your formula will be m = (y2-y1) / (x2-x1). Your (y2, y1) will be on top while (x2, x1) will be on the bottom. I hope that is the right formula you need. I always use it and it works for me. Have a great day!! :)

5 is b and 1 is a
1 is A because just change the x value with the number in the table for x and see if y matches like
Y=-2x+6
Y=-2*1 + 6
4 =-2*1+6

And for 5
Day is x, y is depending on x and your going to add .4 to everything. But it’s growing .2 every day so it’s
Y=0.2x+0.4

I hope this helps you if I’m not right please tell me so if other people use those they know I’m wrong if I am. I don’t think so thou. If not please give me brainiest. Thank you!!
Have a nice night.

Mileage tests are conducted for a particular model of automobile. If a 98% confidence interval with a margin of error of 1 mile
Llana [10]

Answer: 37

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Significance level : \alpha:1-0.98=0.02

Critical value : z_{\alpha/2}=z_{0.01}=2.33

margin of error : E= 1 mile per gallon

Population standard deviation: \sigma=2.6 miles per gallon.

We know that when the population standard deviation is known then the formula to find the sample size is given by  :

n=(\dfrac{z_{\alpha/2}\times \sigma}{E})^2

n=(\dfrac{(2.33)\times 2.6}{1})^2=36.699364\approx37  [Round to the next whole number.]

Hence, the required number of automobiles should be used in the test = 37
