The Holocaust is important because we need to analyze what led to the Holocaust so we can prevent it from happening again ie the downfall of democracy in the Weimer republic and the blaming of Germany’s post war problems on Jews.

Berkeley ordered the matters to be investigated and initiated peace talks between the government and the rebels which leads to the murder of numerous tribal chiefs and people. Berkeley offered all means to pardon Bacon but he would not listen to him. This resulted to a war.

In a republic, power is held by those citizens that are able and government is a public matter (res publica in latin) to vote and the power comes from their vote during elections.
