\rightarrow x^2+9 x-10\\\\=x^2+10 x-x-10\\\\= x\times (x+10)-1 \times (x+10)\\\\=(x-1)(x+10)

From the table

Sum of term which contains coefficient of , x =9=-1+10

Constant term = -10= -1 × 10

⇒ (x+p)(x+q)=(x-1)(x+10)

Comparing , L HS and R HS

p= -1

q= 10

⇒ (x² +0x - 9)(x² +0xi - 9(- 1)) = 0
