So heres what we do:
We divide that figure into 3 different shapes (2 triangles and 1 rectangle)
We solve the area of the RECTANGLE by multiply base and height
Which is: 32 x 14 = 448 square inches

Now, we sokve for the area of the TRIANGLE
We can see that ONE TRIANGLE is 1/4 of the rectangle we just solved the area of.

We divide the 448 square inches into 4, which is equal to 112 square inches.
BUT SINCE we have / triangles that have same sizes, we need to do 112 x 2= 224

Heres what we have now:
224 square inches (area of the two triangles)
And 448 square inches (area of the rectangle)
We do 448 + 224= 672
FINAL ANSWER: 672 square inches

15. The answer would be B, because: When x = 2, y = 2*2+3 = 7, and so on, and so forth.

16. The answer would also be B, because: When x = 11, y = 10(11-1) = 100, and so on, and so forth.
