Answer:is it rude bringing food in a train?? yes It's quite common to bring your own food on the train. But like Jennifer said, bringing smelly food or food that would in any way annoy your fellow travellers is rude. People eat on Amtrak trains in the U.S. and they eat on trains in many parts of Europe.
