In this exercise, we need to complete each sentence with the imperfect of the verbs in parentheses. In general, we use the imperfect when talking about past actions, conditions, or events that occurred regularly or frequently or that were in progress in a moment in the past.
For regular verbs, just remove the ar, er, ir ending and add the new ending that matches the subject as shown in the First Table below. in the imperfect tense, there are only three verbs with irregular conjugations, namely: ir, ser, and ver and the conjugations are shown in the second Table below. Finally, let's solve each question:
