P(s) = 45/125 = 0.360
P(A&C) = 38/125 = 0.304
Probability that one is not in Arts and Crafts = 1- P(A&C) = 1-0.304 = 0.696

Therefore,
Probability that the child selected is in swimming when its known they didn't sign for Arts and craft = Probability they signed for swimming * Probability that they didn't sign for Arts and Crafts = 0.360*0.696 = 0.25056

Answer:

P( swim | No Art and crafts) = 26/87

Step-by-step explanation:

There are total 45 children who sign up for swimming, but 12 children are sign up for both, so only 33 students are only for swimming. and there 54 children who are not sign up either one. plus 33 children ( swimming), total is 87 children who did not sign up for arts and crafts

The temperature in the afternoon was 10 degrees. By 8 pm, the temperature was -5
Ket [755]

Answer:

The temperature had dropped by 15 degrees (-15 if you don't want it positive.)

Step-by-step explanation:

Okay!

This is a subtraction problem.

If it started off at 10, and went down to -5, we can do |-5 - 10| (I am using the two bars because it said change.) And we get 15!

What is an expression?

Expression in maths is defined as the collection of the numbers variables and functions by using signs like addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

A) If a number, n, divided by 8 equals 2.5, what is n?

n / 8 = 2.5

n = 8 x 2.5 = 20

B) The sum of a number, n, and 6.05 is 12.4. What is n?

n + 6.05 = 12.4

n = 12.4 - 6.05 = 6.35

C) Stacy is one-fourth as old as her mother. If Stacy's mother is

36, how old is Stacy?

(1 / 4) M_{age} = S_{age}

S_{age} = ( 36 / 4)

S_{age} = 9 years

Therfore the answers are n = 20 ,n = 6.35, S_{age} = 9 years
