Your project will consist of two essays. The first will consist of 5 paragraphs: one paragraph detailing what time period you ch

oose to travel to and why, the second detailing what town and country you are choosing to live in, and a third detailing what type of music you would compose. The fourth paragraph will describe what instrument you are a virtuoso on, and the final paragraph will describe what makes you stand out from other composers of that country and time period. The second essay will describe a piece of music you are planning to compose. The form, style, dynamics, amount of measures, instrumentation and whether it will be sacred or secular need to be covered in your essay. Be sure that the choices you make for your piece were standard in the time period in which you are living and composing. Also, describe what will make your piece stand the test of time so it will be studied by future generations.( for example a music time period would be Medieval Period or Romantic Period
