3 red marbles and 4 blue marbles in a bag probability

Mathematics

There are 7 marbles in total (3 red, 4 blue)

The possibility of the first marble being blue is 4/7. We now have just 6 marbles in this bag which are (3 red, 3 blue).

The possibility of the next following number will be blue which is 3/6.

Now that we’ve finished putting the numbers in this situation what we now need to do is form an equation to solve this problem.

So for the following numbers we must now do blue by multiplying the two chances.

4/7(3/6)=12/42=2/7 which is ultimately 28.6%.

Is that all you want? Or is there something you want me to do?

jasenka [17]

Answer/Step-by-step explanation:

1. <ABC and <BCD are alternate interior angles. Alternate interior angles are equal, therefore, since m<ABC = 38°, then m<BCD = 38°

2. m<ECF = m<BCD (corresponding angles)

m<ECF = 38° (substitution)

3. m<DCF + m<ECF = 180° (linear pair)

m<DCF + 38° = 180° (substitution)

m<DCF = 180° - 38° (Subtraction property of equality)

m<DCF = 142°

10. The sum of four consecutive integers is at least 18. What's the smallest consecutive integer to make this statement true?
Tju [1.3M]

Answer:

A. 3

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the integers be

x

(x+1)

(x+2)

(x+3)

Sum the integers

We have,

x+(x+1)+(x+2)+(x+3)=18

x+x+1+x+2+x+3=18

4x+6=18

Subtract 6 from both sides

4x-6=18-6

4x=12

Divide both sides by 4

4x/4=12/4

x=3

The smallest integer which is x is equal to 3

Check:

3+4+5+6=18
