What is the value of the expression 6+18÷3×4
mojhsa [17]
Hi! Ok so you use PEMDAS to figure these out.
So first we can cancel out parenthesis and exponents since there are none in this equation.
Now we do multiply and divide from left to right.
So first 18/3=6
So 6+6*4
Now we do 6*4=24
Now add and subtract
Then 6+24=30
So your answer is 30

A construction crew is lengthening a road that originally measured 58 miles. The crew is adding one mile to the road each day. T
Leona [35]

We have a situation expressed with the following equation

L(d)=58+d

where L is the miles after a number d of days and d is the number of days

we must find the miles after 31 days of construction, i.e. we replace the value d = 31

\begin{gathered} L(31)=58+31 \\ L(31)=89 \end{gathered}

In conclusion, the answer is 89 miles
