LUCKY_DIMON [66]

Answer:

A=60, B=80, and C=67

Step by step explanation:

B= 2a

C= a+27

With the information, you get the equation:

A+A+27+2A=187

Then, you have to simplify.

You then get 4a+27=187.

Now, you subtract 27 from both sides to get: 4a=60.

Divide both sides by 4 to get A= 60.

If A=60, 2A=80, so B=80. A+27=67, so C=67.

You check this by adding them up to see if they equal to 187, which in fact, they do.

A=60, B=80, and C=67.

Hope this helped!

And could someone please help me with this one please
Goshia [24]

Answer:

C

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of a parabola in vertex form is

y = a(x - h)² + k

where (h, k) are the coordinates of the vertex and a is a multiplier

here (h, k) = (5, 2), thus

y = a(x - 5)² + 2

To find a substitute (4, - 3) into the equation

- 3 = a + 2 ⇒ a = - 3 - 2 = - 5

y = - 5(x - 5)² + 2 ← in vertex form

Expand (x - 5)² and distribute by - 5

y = - 5(x² - 10x + 25) + 2

  = - 5x² + 50x - 125 + 2

  = - 5x² + 50x - 123 ← in standard form

A shoebox is covered with packing paper before being shipped. The paper cost $0.02 per square inch. How much will it cost to cov
Yuliya22 [10]

It will cost about $0.72 for three pair of shoes assuming shoe box is rectangular shape having 12 square inches of packing paper.

Step-by-step explanation:

  • Assuming a shoe box rectangle in shape and the same size is required.
  • Length of rectangle box assuming to be 4 inches.
  • Width of rectangle box assuming to be 3 inches.
  • as we know area of rectangle is Length * Breath(Width) .
  • 12 square inches is the total packing paper required for each box.
  • To cover cost of three pairs of shoes $0.02 per square inch.
  • Each box would cost about 12 square inches * 0.02 pr square inches.
  • 0.24 square inches of packing paper will be required.
  • let three pairs of shoes be x
  • Total pairs of shoes would be= (12 * 0.02)*x
  • Answer would be for 3 pairs of shoes = 0.24*3 = 0.72 square inches.

How do i find the solution or can you help me find it please
Verizon [17]

remember, you can do anything to an equation as long as you do it to both sides

we can do a subsitution

y=x+6

y=-7x-10

since y=x+6, we can subsitute x+6 for y in the other equation

y=-7x-10

x+6=-7x-10

add 7x to both sides

8x+6=-10

minus 6 from both sides

8x=-16

divide both sides by 8

x=-16/8=-2

the valu eof x that satisfies both equations is x=-2
