Answer: the petals

Explanation:

It would seem that the petals are the central object in this poem as it is they and their properties that are referenced.

First they are said to fall into the fountain after which they are described as orange-coloured rose-leaves which have ochre that clung to the stone they fell to. The petals are therefore the central object as the focus is on them.

Explain what Annabeth wants so desperately.
Aneli [31]

In the book, Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, Annabeth Chase has her heart set on going on a quest.

It is said in the book several times that Annabeth longs to go on a quest. She says that she had only been outside Camp Half-Blood a couple times and longs to be out there again. She desperately wants to join Percy Jackson on his quest to find the lightning thief.

I hope this helps you out! There are other things that she wanted in the book, but this is what she mainly wanted and the most emphasized desire.

Read this excerpt from "Letter to George III, 1793" by Emperor Qian Long:
yawa3891 [41]

Answer:

I would say the correct answer is B. To give the English king a graceful way out of what could be an awkward situation.

Explanation:

The emperor's letter is a perfect example of a well-balanced political message. He clearly states his political position while still paying due respect to his counterpart. Translated to modern, everyday English, this passage would mean: "Your request is unreasonable and goes against all principles and rules of my great empire; still, I will be gracious enough to assume that you meant no offence." This way, the emperor turns down a request without making an enemy.

True, the emperor refuses King George's request to intensify trade connections between the two countries. But he doesn't go so far as to warn the English king of anything. His tone remains polite throughout the letter. Therefore, A) isn't correct.

On the other hand, C) isn't correct because Qian Long presents his current political stance and the politics of his empire as definite and immutable. Therefore, there is no room for change - not now, not ever.

Finally, D) isn't correct because the emperor knows very well that an ambassador always speaks on behalf of his sovereign. Therefore, it is absolutely impossible that a political envoy would take liberty to speak on his own terms.

From the day Malala is born, her father is proud of her existence. He even calls her Jani Mun, or soulmate. Do you think the nic
tensa zangetsu [6.8K]

Explanation:

I'm glad that I've read that book lol.

yes I think that nickname is fitting for her.

cause like as you must have read that book you know that she was very much like her father, by that I mean that as her father was an activist she used to follow him unlike his brother and soon she also became an activist so that kinda makes that alike.

As you know that girls weren't allowed to go to school in many places there, her father wanted her to go school(as we know that he supported her) and used to fight for the right of a girl to school just like Malala.

I cant think of more now >□<

ways, hope it helps :)

have a good day^^
