Each ticket costs $7 and on Friday every ticket is discounted by $2 so the cost of every ticket would be $5 on Friday and 5x9=45 so the cost for 9 tickets on Friday is worth $45

SOLVE BOTH PROBLEMS PLEASE.<br><br> Solve for b: A=6b<br><br><br> Solve for b : A=1/2bh
Readme [11.4K]

Answer:

see explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

A = 6b ( divide both sides by 6 )

\frac{A}{6} = b

--------------------------------------

A = \frac{1}{2} bh ( multiply both sides by 2 to clear the fraction )

2A = bh ( divide both sides by h )

\frac{2A}{h} = b

Circle 1 is centered at (5, 8) and has a radius of 8 centimeters. Circle 2 is centered at (1, −2) and has a radius of 4 centimet
Masja [62]

Answer:

The answer in the procedure

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

Figures can be proven similar if one, or more, similarity transformations (reflections, translations, rotations, dilation's) can be found that map one figure onto another.

In this problem to prove circle 1 and circle 2 are similar, a translation and a scale factor (from a dilation) will be found to map one circle onto another.

we have that

Circle 1 is centered at (5,8) and has a radius of 8 centimeters

Circle 2 is centered at (1,-2) and has a radius of 4 centimeters

step 1

Move the center of the circle 1 onto the center of the circle 2

the transformation has the following rule

(x,y)--------> (x-4,y-10)

so

(5,8)------> (5-4,8-10)-----> (1,-2)

center circle 1 is now equal to center circle 2

The circles are now concentric (they have the same center)

step 2

A dilation is needed to decrease the size of circle 1 to coincide with circle 2

scale factor=radius circle 2/radius circle 1-----> 4/8----> 0.5

radius circle 1 will be=8*scale factor-----> 8*0.5-----> 4 cm

radius circle 1 is now equal to radius circle 2

therefore

A translation, followed by a dilation will map one circle onto the other, thus proving that the circles are similar

Easy!<br> 1. Change 7 1/2 to a top heavy fraction.<br> 2. Change 3 2/3 to a top heavy fraction
madreJ [45]
7 1/2 = 15/2
Multiply 7 and 2, then add 1 = 15
Keep the denominator

3 2/3 = 11/3
Multiply 3 and 3, then add 2 = 11
Keep the denominator

I will mark brainliest, Please answer d). How do I do this question and what is the answer.
vampirchik [111]

The lowest common denominator of the two fractions is 4 because it is the smallest number that both fractions can be transformed into. 3/2 is multiplied by 2 to create 6/4 which can be added to 11/4.
