Answer:

An act of God describes an event outside of human control or activity. It's usually a natural disaster, such as a flood or an earthquake. Insurance policies usually specify which particular acts of God they cover.These clauses typically limit or remove liability for injuries, damages, and losses caused by acts of God.

Christianity is the religion derived from Jesus Christ, based on the Bible as sacred scripture, and professed by Eastern, Roman Catholic, and Protestant bodies. This religion came to be one of the largest and most influential religions today. When the Romans thought about Christianity, it was considered a sin. As Gillian Clark stated, “Jesus Christ was born in the reign of Augustus, the first Roman emperor, in an obscure district of the Roman-ruled territory then called Judaea. (Clark 4) Augustus led Rome 's transformation from republic to empire. At about the age of thirty, Jesus Christ was tied to a wooden cross and secured by nails. They went through his ankles and wrists, and he was left to die. SOVA2 [1]

Answer:

Speaks of Jesus being accused of wrong, but He refused to defend Himself. He remained quiet.

Explanation:

The Book of Isaiah is the 23rd book in the Old Testament of the Christians holy book "The Holy Bible". This particular book contains a lot of descriptions as well as predictions for the future of the world. Not only that, it also includes the coming of the Messiah and the saving of the whole world through the suffering of the Son of God.

Isaiah 53 verse 7 says -

<em>"He was oppressed and afflicted,</em>

<em />

<em>    yet he did not open his mouth;</em>

<em>he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,</em>

<em />

<em>    and as a sheep before its shearers is silent,</em>

<em />

<em>    so he did not open his mouth."</em>

These lines predicts the suffering of Christ at the hands of those who are against him. Like a sheep, he remained silent, suffering whatever was inflicted upon him for the sake of the salvation of the whole world. These lines talks of how Jesus will be wrongly accused but will not defend himself. Instead, he will rather remain quiet and silently endure the torture that was put on him.

Grant was now going to make this a war of "attrition." How was this going to shorten the war and force a Confederate surrender?
yKpoI14uk [10]

Answer:

Check the explanation

Explanation:

Forcing the Confederate army to surrender and shortening the Civil War was all a result of the General Grant's plan of attrition. Since Grant's plan involves fighting battles constantly without rest that meant the Rebel Army had to also deal with the same disadvantages.

The dissimilarity between Confederacy and the Union in the matter is that Grant had more men to make use of and dispose of while Lee had the same men who would have to endlessly fight.

Since Grant's troops were well rested once moved they were able to attack with 110% but the same could not go for the Confederates who will have to use troops that are fatigued.

Therefore whenever the Union regained their troops and stirred the Confederates were collapsing as a threat and force to Grant. There would soon be tiny amount left of the Confederate troops to fight which will later make them surrender.
