The measures of two angles in a linear pair add to 180 deg.

m<1 + m<2 = 180

2x + 20 + 48x = 180

50x + 20 = 180

50x = 160

x = 3.2

m<1 = 2x + 20 = 2(3.2) + 20 = 6.4 + 20 = 26.4

m<2 = 48x = 48(3.2) = 153.6

Answer: m<1 = 26.4 deg; m<2 = 153.6 deg
