What does the native american word Chickamauga mean?
oksian1 [2.3K]

Answer:

Even the real meaning of the name Chickamauga is still contested. Does it mean "Bloody River" or "River of Death" in Cherokee or is it really a Creek word meaning "Dwelling place of the chiefs"? It is ironic that the greatest victory of the Confederacy was the defining moment in the careers of so many Union generals.

In the great compromise, what did small states and large states five up?
Anna71 [15]
The great compromise was the compromise for a two house legislature. One based off of population and one just because you were a state you get the same amount of votes as every other state. Not sure if this shows who gave up what, but the large states got a population based legislature and the small states got one not based off of population. They both got an equal say in government.
