Hello!

Xavier: 85 ÷ 7 = 17

Pablo: 168 ÷ 8 = 21

Hugo: 66 ÷ 3 = 22

Michelle: 76 ÷ 4 = 16

So the person who reads the fastest is Michelle who reads a chapter in 16 mins.

Arlen has a recipe for lasagna that serves 8 people and uses 2 teaspoons of garlic. How many teaspoons of garlic will be used to
Y_Kistochka [10]
Your answer is A) 1 teaspoon.

The ratio for this problem is 8, 2, where 8 is the people, and 2 is the teaspoons. 4 people is half of 8 when you divide 8/4 so you have to do the same with the other part of the ratio. when you split 2 in half, you get 1 teaspoon as your answer

Hope this helps :)
