Answer:

250

Explanation:

According to the question the number of bacteria population becomes double in 9 hours to that of 1 hr that means bacteria is dividing in 9 hours. Each time the bacteria divides, the numbers become double.

As we have found that bacteria is dividing in 9 hours so for the first 9 hours the number will be same as initial population i.e. 250. But just after nine hours the population will be double i.e. 500.

So, after 3 hours the population will be same as initial population, 250.

Organisms that make energy in the form of glucose are called ____.
Slav-nsk [51]

Answer:

Producers ( also called autotrophs) are the organisms that synthesize their own ( glucose) food using carbon dioxide and water in the presence of sunlight ( photosynthesis). They use energy from sunlight to convert it into chemical energy ( that is stored in the glucose). Autotrophs occupy the base of a food chain within the ecosystem as they are first trophic level for the energy transfer.

Decomposers ( such as bacteria and fungi that act on dead plants and animals) can recycle the organic matter back into the food web and biogeochemical cycles in the form of nutrients such as carbon and nitrogen.

Thus, the correct answers are-

1) Producers

2) Decomposer

3) Sunlight

4) Base
