Biology

Answer:

  • The stomata are present on the plant body which are mainly regulated by the chemical balance( sugar level) inside the stomata's body. As, during the transpiration process the loss of excessive amount of water occurs which is required for the osmoregulation of the plants body.
  • Now, when the stomata are mostly light sensitive and it loses it turgidity then the cells become much flattened and thus it closes to stop the process of transpiration. Which, brings about the increase of the water level or balance inside the plants body, which is required for better or proper mechanism.
  • And, for that reason the requirement or need for more water molecules will end, as the plant roots will now stop absorbing any more water molecules from the soil.

In which ways is photosynthesis important to life on Earth? Check all that apply. makes food for all organisms. adds oxygen to t
ladessa [460]

The right options are; makes food for all organisms, adds oxygen to the atmosphere, is a source of medicines and fibers, is a source of building materials and it provides animal habitat.

Photosynthesis is a process by which green plants and some other autotrophs use light energy in chloroplasts to generate carbohydrates (food) from carbon dioxide and water while oxygen is being released as a by-product. Photosynthesis is essential to all living organisms on earth because it is the main source of oxygen in the atmosphere. Photosynthesis provides animal habitat, it provides food for all organisms (directly for plants and indirectly for animals). Plants and trees produce their foods through photosynthesis and are used as medicines and fibers, and as building materials.

Answer:

During prophase I, the chromosomes condense and become visible inside the nucleus. Because each chromosome was duplicated during the S phase that occurred just before prophase I, each now consists of two sister chromatids joined at the centromere.
