Answer:

-5 degrees per hour

Step-by-step explanation:

In 10 hours, the temperature dropped -50 degrees (38 + 12, and make it negative because the temperature went down, not up).

So divide -50 by 10

-50/10 = -5

Pls help<br><br> solve for x <br><br> |3x-8|+7=2
goldenfox [79]

Answer:

No solution

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve first you need to isolate the absolute value sign. Do this by subtracting 7 from each side.

  • |3x-8| = -5

Now an expression inside absolute value bars is set to a negative. Since absolute value makes terms and expressions positive, there is no x-value that could make this true. Therefore, there are no solutions.

Solve the following system of equations.
IrinaVladis [17]

3y-2z=7

y=\frac{2z+7}{3}......equation(1)

Given x+2y-6=z

x=z-2y+6

putting value of y from equation(1)

By simplifying x=\frac{-z+4}{3}.....Equation(2)

Now putting the value of x and y in term of z in 3rd given equation

i.e 4+3x=2y-5z

i.e 2y-5z-3x=4

i.e 2(\frac{2z+7}{3})-5z-3(\frac{-z+4}{3})=4

By simplifying we will get -8z+14=24

i.e z=\frac{-5}{4}

Now putting z value in Equation(1);y=3/4

And putting z value in Equation(2);x=7/3 (Answer)
