Yuki888 [10]

Answer:

Simple cell

Explanation:

Simple cells are found in primary visual cortex and are made up of large number of receptive fields from neurons and the respond to light at specific Orientation and oriented edges. The cells were discovered by Torsten Wiesel and David Hubel in the late 1950s. The simple cells respond to stimuli with some particular orientations to objects within their receptive fields. Receptive fields comprises of sensory receptors in the sensory neurons that draw out neurosonal responses when there are stimulated

Explain the role of nitrogen and varbon dioxide in human beings.
Ivanshal [37]

Answer:

Introduction

Carbon is a very important element to living things. As the second most common element in the human body, we know that human life without carbon would not be possible. Protein, carbohydrates, and fats are all part of the body and all contain carbon.

Carbon occurs in many forms on Earth and is found throughout the environment (Figure below). The element moves through organisms and then returns to the environment. When all this happens in balance, the ecosystem remains in balance too. In this section, let’s follow the path of a carbon atom over many years and see what happens.

Explaination:When your body breaks down food to produce energy, you break down protein, carbohydrates, and fat, and you breathe out carbon dioxide.

Testosterone oxi-reductase is a liver enzyme that regulates testosterone levels in alligators. one study compared testosterone o
Reil [10]

Explanation:

Environmental contamination reduces total testosterone oxido-reductase activity in females.- True

Enzymes are proteins which catalyze reactions by acting on substrates in order to speed up reactions- like the breakdown of large polysaccharides by amylase. Here, the enzyme testosterone oxi-reductase facilitates the of testosterone to the androgen DHT. Enzyme specificity is affected by pH, temperature and the presence of inhibitors.

In temperatures beyond its optimal range, these may undergo changes to its physical structure called denaturation; when denatured, enzymes lose their ability to bind specifically to their substrate -i.e. substrate binding specificity is lost. Testosterone would no longer be able to bind to the active site, and thus would not be converted.
