Answer:

The circulatory and respiratory systems interact to transport carbon dioxide to the lungs, where it is expelled from the body.

Explanation:

Carbon dioxide produced by the cells and tissues during cellular respiration is removed from the body through the interaction of the circulatory and respiratory system. The medium of transport of carbon dioxide is the blood which carries to the lungs, where it is expelled from the body in ordernto maintain homeostasis in the body.

Carbon dioxide molecules are transported in the blood from body tissues to the lungs in three ways:

1. Dissolution directly into the blood - due to its greater solubility in blood than oxygen, carbon dioxide is dissolved in blood plasma. On reaching the lungs, it leaves the blood by diffusion and is then expelled out of the body.

2. Binding to hemoglobin - carbon dioxide binds reversibly with haemoglobin in the red blood cells to form a molecule called carbaminohemoglobin. When it reaches the lungs, the carbon dioxide freely dissociate from the hemoglobin and is expelled from the body.

3. Carried as a bicarbonate ion - the majority of carbon dioxide molecules are carried as part of the bicarbonate buffer system. In this system, carbon dioxide diffuses into the red blood cells. The enzyme carbonic anhydrase within the red blood cells quickly converts the carbon dioxide into carbonic acid (H2CO3) which then dissociates into bicarbonate and hydrogen ions. The bicarbonate ions leaves the red blood cells in exchange for chloride ions in the plasma. The bicarbonate ions then travel in plasma to the lungs, where they enter the red blood cells again. It combines with hydrogen ions from the haemoglobin to form carbonic acid. Carbonic anhydrase breaks carbonic acid down into water and carbon dioxide which is then expelled from the lungs.

Body Type: DNA code- AGTGCCTTC RNA code- ___________ Amino Acid sequence (aka protein)- ___________________ Body Type?- ________
olga2289 [7]

Answer:

The correct answer would be:

  • mRNA sequence - UCACGGAAG,
  • amino acid sequence - Ser-Arg-Lys, and
  • body type - dwarf

By central dogma, we know that nucleotide sequence of deoxyribonuceic acid (DNA) form the amino acid sequence of a polypeptide chain.

Nucleotide sequence of DNA is first decoded in the form of nucleotide sequence of mRNA (messenger ribonucleic acid) under the process of transcription. The sequence of RNA is complementary to the nucleotide sequence of template strand of DNA. In addition, uracil is present in RNA in place of thymine.

tRNA (transfer RNA) then deciphers the codon sequence of mRNA into amino acid sequence of polypeptide sequence by the process of translation.

Now, given DNA sequence is AGTGCCTTC.

so, the mRNA sequence would be UCACGGAAG.

Codon sequence is UCA CGG AAG.

So, the amino acid sequence would be Ser-Arg-Lys.

Hence, the trait of showman performer would be dwarfism.

Codon sequence chart is attached for reference.

<h2>Anatomy of Aorta</h2>

Explanation:

  • The protein elastin is found in connective tissues all through the body. It is eminently found in the extracellular lattice of the skin just as the inward organs of the body. The name elastin sounds a lot of like 'flexible.' This is no fortuitous event. The elastin protein is adaptable and gives numerous tissues their versatility.
  • Inferable from its exceptional capacity to extend and withdraw, the aorta additionally fills in as a store that changes the profoundly compelled and pulsatile heart yield into a progression of moderate variances.
  • The tunica intima comprises of a solitary layer of ECs that lines the lumen of the vein and is moored to the fundamental cellar film, an exceptionally particular ECM organize comprising basically of laminin, collagen type IV, fibronectin, perlecan, and heparan sulfate proteoglycans.
  • This storm cellar layer additionally assumes a vital job in flagging occasions that direct EC movement, intrusion, expansion, and survival. The cellar film together with the inward flexible lamina (IEL) fills in as an interface between the tunica intima and tunica media.

Answer: In the restaurant business, the use of plastic can sometimes be unpreventable, as it serves many purposes and plays a vital role in our consumption of food. One of the great advantages of plastic is that it’s designed to last for a very long time: nearly all of the plastic ever created still exists in some form today. It is in use all around us — from protecting products, to the interior of our cars, to preserving food, to the medical devices used in hospitals every day. While there are numerous positive characteristics of plastic, there are also some considerable negatives. Every day, many plastic items are only used once and then are thrown away, generating one of the fastest growing problems for the environment. We call this “single-use plastic.”

There are countless amounts of plastic items in our landfills and additionally, in our lakes, rivers and oceans. Since it takes years and years for plastic to decompose, it can release toxic chemicals into our soil and water, which can affect human health and wildlife.

With this in mind, it is important not only for individuals to reduce their plastic use, but for restaurants to lead in example by reducing the amount of plastic generated in the workplace. Many large companies like Starbucks, IKEA, and Disney have already committed to eliminating single-use plastic waste in the near future, and we expect many others will follow suit. Here are five tips to help contribute to reducing plastic waste:
