so, the given triangles are Similar by

now, since the triangles are similar

the corresponding sides will be proportional,

$\frac{AC }{PR} = \frac{BC }{QR}$

$\frac{6}{15} = \frac{9}{y}$

$\frac{2}{5} = \frac{9}{y}$

$2y = 45$

(by cross multiplication)

$y = 22.5$

value of y = 22.5 cm
