Which is the corresponding angle
velikii [3]

Answer:

<h2>4 and 8</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

4 and 8 are corresponding angles as they form at parallel lines cut by a transversal.

4 and 3 are supplementary angles (they both add up to 180°).

4 and 1 are vertically opposite angles and are equal to each other.

<u>From the above explanations, only 4 and 8 are corresponding angles. </u>

WHich choice is equivalent to the expression below? √-125
olasank [31]

Answer:

Final simplified form is 5\sqrt{5}i

Step-by-step explanation:

We have been given an expression \sqrt{-125}

Now we need to simplify \sqrt{-125} and check which choice matches with simplified form of \sqrt{-125}.

You missed to provide the choices but still we simplify that.

\sqrt{-125}

=\sqrt{-5*5*5}

=5\sqrt{-5}

When there is negative sign inside square root then we replace that by "i" iota.

=5\sqrt{5}i

Hence final simplified form is 5\sqrt{5}i

The four corners of a square chessboard touch the edge of a round table. The length of the chessboard is 1 foot. Find the length
Juliette [100K]

Answer:

\frac{\sqrt{2} }{2}\,\,foot

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: Four corners of a square chessboard touch the edge of a round table. The length of the chessboard is 1 foot.

To find: length of the radius of the table

Solution:

Diameter of the round table is equal to the diagonal of a square chessboard.

Diagonal of a square chessboard = \sqrt{2} × side of the square chessboard

Here, side of a square chessboard = 1 foot

So,

Diagonal of a square chessboard = \sqrt{2} × 1 = \sqrt{2} foot

Diameter of the round table = Diagonal of a square chessboard = \sqrt{2} foot

Radius of the round table = Diameter of the round table/2

= \frac{\sqrt{2} }{2}\,\,foot

Find the midpoint between each pair of points.<br> (7,-2) and (-4,2)
Mashutka [201]

Answer:

Midpoint: (\frac{3}{2} ,0 )

Step-by-step explanation:

Midpoint Formula: (\frac{x_1+x_2}{2} ,\frac{y_1+y_2}{2} )

Step 1: Define variables

x₁ = 7

x₂ = -4

y₁ = -2

y₂ = 2

Step 2: Plug into midpoint formula

(\frac{7-4}{2} ,\frac{-2+2}{2} )

Step 3: Simplify/Evaluate

(\frac{3}{2} ,\frac{0}{2} )

(\frac{3}{2} ,0 )

Find one of the solutions to the following absolute value equation:<br> 26 + 4) = 48
Sindrei [870]
Answer : MAYBE 18 (?)
I’m not 100% sure
Explanation: you always solve what’s is parentheses “( )” first so then you get the equation
30 = 48
Then ( this is the part I’m not sure about)
You subtract 30 out that means 30-30=0 & 48-30 = 18 so that’s where I found my answer but idk I haven’t done absolute value since Algebra 1 !!
