It’s 10m. If you know about Pythagorean triples, one of the triplets is 6,8,10. The other way is the Pythagorean Theron which is a^2 +b^2=c^2. So if we plug it in it would be 6m^2+8m ^2=am^2. So 6m^2+8m ^2 would be equal to 100m^2. Then you would have to find the square root of it to get 10m.

Answer:

10m

Step-by-step explanation:

<em><u>A^2+B^2=C^2</u></em>

<em><u>6^2+8^2=C^2</u></em>

36+64=C^2

100=C^2

10=C

I need help guys! <br> Determine if the following relations represent y as a function of x.
Whitepunk [10]

Functions are relations that only have one output per input (or graphically passes the vertical line test). You can either go on Desmos and graph this or just look at my explanations below.

1) function, pretty much all polynomials will be a normal function

2) function. This is a rational function, meaning you'll have some weird gaps and lines going to infinity but it's still a function. It's formed by a polynomial divided by another polynomial.

3) function, looks like you can simplify this into a standard rational function.

4) relation, y with an even square root are never going to give you a single solution (due to the nature of a + or - answer; \sqrt{9} = +3 and -3)

If a translation of <img src="https://tex.z-dn.net/?f=T_%7B-3%2C-8%7D%20%28x%2Cy%29" id="TexFormula1" title="T_{-3,-8} (x,y)" al
nydimaria [60]

The y-coordinate of B' after the translation is -6

<h3>How to determine the y-coordinate of B'?</h3>

From the graph, the coordinate of B is given as:

B = (1,2)

The translation T_{-3,-8}(x,y) means:

(x,y) ⇒ (x - 3, y - 8)

So, we have:

B' = (1 - 3, 2 - 8)

Evaluate the difference

B' = (-2, -6)

Remove the x-coordinate

B' = -6

Hence, the y-coordinate of B' is -6

Firdavs [7]

Turn the percentage into a decimal.

6% = 0.06

Multiply.

990 * 0.06 = $54.9 (sales tax)

Add.

990 + 54.9 = $1,049.40 (total price)

Best of Luck!
