When it comes to life after death, in Hinduism, reincarnation is believed to happen, called samsara. In Buddhism, once one reaches nirvana, it is said that all paths of pain and suffering are ended. Hinduism is one of the most common religions today, practiced mainly in India. Buddhism made its way up the Silk Road into East Asia, where it is also still practiced. Both religions originated in India.
