Answer:

Would I be correct in guessing that you incorrectly transcribed the answers? The equation for that line is

y = -3x + 2

but none of the answers provided match that.  Answer B however comes close, but with the slope negated.

-11=(x-3)÷2 what is the solution for x
e-lub [12.9K]

Answer:

          -19

Step-by-step explanation:

                     ~ Distribute:

               - 11 = 1 / 2 x + -3 / 2

                        ~ Flip the equation:

                  1 / 2 x + -3 / 2 = -11

                          ~ Use transposition method:

(take -3 / 2 to the other side)

                       1 / 2 x = -11 - (-3 / 2)

                                  = -19 / 2

                                x = -12 / 2 * 2

                                    = -19

Hope this helped

A standard die is rolled 360 times in hopes of rolling a 5 or 6. So the probability of success is p=1/3. Find the standard devia
lana [24]

Answer: option 1 is the correct answer

Step-by-step explanation:

Number of times for which the die was rolled is 360. It means that our sample size, n is 360.

The probability of rolling a 5 or a 6 is 1/3. It means that probability of success,p = 1/3. The probability of failure,q is

1 - probability of success. It becomes

1 - 1/3 = 2/3

The formula for standard deviation is expressed as

√npq. Therefore

Standard deviation = √360 × 1/3 × 2/3

= √80 = 8.9443

Standard deviation is approximately 8.9

Find the surface area of square pyramid someone help
IgorC [24]

Answer:

65 square units

Step-by-step explanation:

The base of the pyramid is 5 by 5 , surface area is 25 square units.

the side of each one is 4 units "high" and 5 long at the base and to find the are of a triangle you multiple base times height then dived by 2. Therefore each side of the triangle is 10 units square. You have 4 sides so...

40 (total of all the sides ) +25 ( base ) = 65
