Name two pieces that share the same theme explain how each story develops over this theme
Fudgin [204]

Answer: The theme of ambition present in Shakespeare's Macbeth and Hamlet.

Explanation:

Two of the four Shakespeare's great tragedies, Macbeth and Hamlet, share the same theme - ambition. There is, of course, a variety of different themes in both of the plays, but let us focus on this one.

In Hamlet, Claudius is ambitious to become a king, which motivates him to assassinate his brother (Hamlet's father). Claudius also marries his late brother's wife, which means that the murder does not stop him from becoming even more powerful. Claudius' growing ambition, thus, triggers a series of events - Hamlet devises a plan to revenge his father, and the whole family dies at the end of the play.

In Macbeth, we have many ambitious characters, but the most obvious example is Macbeth himself. Macbeth's desire to become a king upon hearing the witches' prophecy leads to him committing murder. He first kills King Duncan, then Banquo, as he also represents a threat. Macbeth's tragic flaw is exactly his driving ambition. The murders he committed make him consumed by guilt, and he tragically dies. Therefore, both of the plays explore ambition and its consequences.

Children should always be loyal to their families no matter what.
malfutka [58]

Answer:

I agree

Explanation:

Your family has taught you everything you know until now (excluding what teachers taught you). They raised you up ever since you were a newborn baby (0 - 28 days). Even if you are loyal to your family, you cannot guarantee their loyalty towards you. A human being truly loves you if he can give your loyalty to you no matter what situation. Parents should have the ability to encourage rather than impose loyalty in the family.

how to find the surface area of a can of fruit with a height of 80 mm and a diameter of 60 mm. Give the area in your explanation
a_sh-v [17]

Answer:

20742.86\,\,mm^2

Explanation:

Height of a can of fruit (h) = 80 mm

Diameter of a can of fruit (D) = 60 mm

Radius of a can of fruit (R) = \frac{D}{2}=\frac{60}{2}=30\,\,mm

Area of a can of fruit =2 \pi r(r+h)

Put r=30\,\,mm\,,\,h=80\,\,mm

Area of a can of fruit = =2(\frac{22}{7})(30)(30+80)=\frac{1320}{7}(110)=20742.86\,\,mm^2

Write 200 words about where you would go if you could travel anywhere in the world. Go into detail as to why you would go to you
trasher [3.6K]

If I could travel anywhere in the world I would choose Europe. I picked Europe because there are so many places and sights to see. Some places I would visit in Europe are The Eiffel Tower because it is so pretty at night time. Rome, the Eternal City perched on seven hills, home to the magnificent Colosseum and the iconic Trevi Fountain. Paris is also a place I want to visit. Some foods I would like to try are macaroons, crepes, and cannolis. Paris is known for all of the stores and shops too. I would also want to visit and shop around Europe just as an experience myself. Europe is quite known for fashion as well these are some reason why I would want to visit Europe.

Savatey [412]

Something metaphoric is figurative or symbolic — in other words, it's a metaphor. Your mom might use the metaphoric phrase "disaster area" when she talks about your bedroom. The Greek root of both is metaphora, "a transfer" or "a carrying over."
