taurus [48]

Non - biodegradable and lipid soluble are the properties of toxic-ant that are likely to build up in animals through bio-accumulation.

In this chemical such as PCSs, DDT , dioxins, and mercury are all persistent chemicals. Because they don't break down and go away , these chemicals are problems . Toxicants that travels through the environment mainly by means of air and water .

Bio-accumulation is the toxic-ant which buildup the tissues of an animals. Bio-magnification is when toxins moves higher concentrations as they move to higher tropic levels. Toxicity is associated with the bio-accumulation and bio-magnification and storage of metals faster than the rate at which an organism metabolizes and excretes lead to the accumulation of that metal.
