When using knowledge-based journalism, you most likely know what you're writing is right, but it could potentially be wrong as your mind tends to twist things a bit.

That's what distingues knowledge-based from fact-checking. In one, the person speaks just because he/she has a knowledge about something, but most of the times, facts are not really checked.
