Answer: Because some mutations can exert selection pressure on some mutations, selecting them positively in order to perpetuate the species.
Explanation:
Malaria may have exerted selection pressure on the human genome, causing it to evolve by selecting those genes that provide this resistance to the Malaria disease, prevailing against the negative effect of the mutation itself. Therefore, this phenomenon is seen in populations where mutation of the gene that codes for glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase is common, for example in some african pupulations.
Answer:
Skin has three layers: The epidermis, the outermost layer of skin, provides a waterproof barrier and creates our skin tone. The dermis, beneath the epidermis, contains tough connective tissue, hair follicles, and sweat glands. The deeper subcutaneous tissue (hypodermis) is made of fat and connective tissue.
The skin has three main functions: Protection; Thermoregulation; Sensation.
The skin acts as a protective barrier from:
Mechanical, thermal and other physical injury;
Harmful agents;
Excessive loss of moisture and protein;
Harmful effects of UV radiation.

I took the test and got it right
Well first off every thing will be more expensive because we will have more money since we are not using it to buy food any more. we would get more money, save more money, and every thing will cost a lot more. Many people will lose jobs because they won't be making food any more (like people at mcdonalds) and then to get a job people will need higher intellect. The population of cows, pigs, and other animals that we eat will rise and they won't be domesticated any more (unless you want to keep a pet chicken, thats fine with me) and the evolution line might change. Then the downside is that the people live in a climate where it is mostly cloudy and dark will be more hungry and will probably move to warmer areas where they can get enough food. People in warmer climate can just sit outside for a few hours and they will be full and not hungry. As you can see if people began to use photosynthesis to get food. many things will change.
I hope this helped. :3

The fur of a gray squirrel matching it's environment is adaptation.
A tomato plant making its own food is photosynthesis.
Wounded skin healing is an example of how a living thing is healing/maintaining it's structure.
