The Soviet Union's approach to security differed from the US approach because the Soviets sought to
Anastasy [175]

Answer:

Protect itself from attack.

Explanation:

The US attempted to gain influence to protect itself from such "Evil Commie ideals" via foreign influence. An example of this is Vietnam, where despite the US not being directly threatened, the government was acting convincing in the argument that "the domino effect" would soon reach the US, and anarchy would fall upon all western civilized nations. A bit exaggerated, but makes sense.

Mesopotamia (from the Greek, meaning 'between two rivers’) was an ancient region in the eastern Mediterranean bounded in the northeast by the Zagros Mountains and in the southeast by the Arabian Plateau, corresponding to today’s Iraq, mostly, but also parts of modern-day Iran, Syria and Turkey. The 'two rivers' of the name referred to the Tigris and the Euphrates rivers and the land was known as 'Al-Jazirah' (the island) by the Arabs referencing what Egyptologist J.H. Breasted would later call the Fertile Crescent, where Mesopotamiancivilization began.

PLEASE HELP ME HERE!!!!!! Explain where the 12 tribes of Israel come from and why did they leave Egypt? (Site 2)
user100 [1]

Answer:

The 12 tribes were originated from the sons of Jacob of his two marriages. They call themselves the Israelites. In the 3rd century BC, Palestine fall under control of Egypt, and the Israelites became slaves until they were freed by Moses.

Explanation:

Each tribe takes the name of a son (six from Jacob's first wife Leah, and six from his second wife Rachel). Lately, they would be called as The Sons of Israel. They lived in Palestine until Egypt took control of the territory and because of the huge population of the Israelites, they became slaves. When the Israelites increase their population in Egypt, the Pharao decided to kill all the primogenitors. During this period, Moses was saved by the Pharao's wife, and later, Moses will become the messiah of the Israelites.
