Um assuming the random stuff below are the available answers, it would have to be 1 because it's the only number, but the equation is incomplete, you need an equal sign, unless it was suppose to be y=x+1 which would also mean it's 1

James has 3 pairs of running shoes for every 4 pairs of basketball shoes. If he has 12 pairs of basketball shoes, how many pairs
GaryK [48]
If James has 12 pairs of basketball shoes, then the ratio would be 3:4 which would stop at 3:12. Then the individual ratios would be 3:4, 6:8, and 9:12

So James has 9 pairs of running shoes

Find the cosine of ∠T.
Ostrovityanka [42]

ANSWER: ∠T = 32.4°

Remember the formula for the basic trig functions: SOH CAH TOA

Since you want to find cosine for <T, you need the adjacent side length as well as the hypotenuse's length which can be found using the Pythagoras's Theorem a^2+b^2=c^2 with a and b being the side lengths and c being the hypotenuse.

Using the theorem, we get c=37

Now use the cosine formula to get <T = 12/37 to get the final answer.
