How did the economic law of supply and demand increase the wealth of business owners during the Industrial Revolution? As mass p

roduction lowered the prices of goods, many more consumers bought them, which increased demand. Mass production led to greater supplies, which meant that more natural resources were needed to meet the demand. Business owners were able to increase profits by lowering their workers' wages but still charging the same price for goods. Consumers demanded lower prices as they came to rely or more types of supplies.

Answer:

As mass production lowered the prices of goods, many more consumers bought them, which increased demand.

Explanation:

As supplies increased due to mass production during the Industrial Revolution, business owners were apply to charge less for each item, which caused more people to buy the items. That increased demand for the item, which allowed manufacturers to raise its price again, resulting in higher profit (since workers' wages remained the same).

What inference can we make from Oedipus’s following line: “This polluting stain I will remove, not for some distant friend, but
Margaret [11]

The correct answer is Oedipus makes decisions based on the will of the gods.

Indeed, at this point in the plot, the Kingdom of Thebes has fallen to some kind of plague that pollutes the people and the fields, causing starvation. He has a prophet consult the Oracle of Apollo to see what can be done and the prophet comes back with an injunction, not a prophecy to find Laius’ killer.

Of course, Oedipus states that “finding Lauis’ murderer is self-serving” but in the sense that he is one with his people and that his people’s welfare is his own. The only unambiguous choice is that Oedipus makes decisions not based on scientific or criminal research but on his religious beliefs and these command that the will of the gods be obeyed at all times.
