Find a positive angle less than one revolution around the unit circle that is co-terminal with the given angle: 52pi/5
Ludmilka [50]
We know that
Two angles are said to be co-terminal <span>if they have the same initial side and </span>
<span>the same terminal side.
</span>
(52π/5)-----> 10.4π<span>
so
</span>(52π/5)-5*2π------> (2π/5)

the answer is
the positive angle less than one revolution around the unit circle that is co-terminal with angle of 52π/5 is 2π/5

Given loga (m) = 10 and loga (n) = 25 , find loga (m * n ^ 2)
mina [271]

The result of the log function log_a (m * n ^ 2)  is 60

According to the law of logarithm if log_ab=y then b=a^y

Given the following expressions

log_am=10\\log_an=25

This can be expressed as

m =a^{10} \ and \ n = a^{25}

Substitute the value of m and n into the expression log_a (m * n ^ 2) to have:

log_a (m * n ^ 2) = log_a(a^{10}\times a^{50})\\=log_aa^{60}\\=60log_aa\\=60(1) \\= 60

This shows that the result of the log function log_a (m * n ^ 2)  is 60

Find the ratio a:b, if 2a−b/6 = b/3
Tom [10]

Answer:

a:b = 2

Step-by-step explanation:

Here we need to operate with terms in order to arrive to a ratio a:b (or a/b).

We have:

2a−b/6 = b/3

Lets sum b/6 in both sides:

2a−b/6 + b/6 = b/3 + b/6

2a = b/3 + b/6

Now, we can multiply and divide b/3 by 2 to make a 6 appear on the denominator and sum it with b/6, this is, use common denominator:

2a = b/3*(2/2) + b/6

2a = 2b/6 + b/6

2a = 3b/6

2a = b/2, as 3/6 = 1/2

Now lets divide both sides by b to make an a/b appear:

2a/b = (b/2)/b

2a/b = 1/2

Finally, multiply both sides by (1/2) or divide by 2:

(2a/b)/2 = 2

a/b = 2

This is, a is twice as b. If b is 1 so a is 2; if b is 45 so a is 90, and so on.

So this has to do with permutations and honestly I need an explanation on how I can figure these out.
AnnZ [28]
Well, the answer quite simple ....there are 4! ways to arrange these numbers...and as 4! = 4*3*2*1 = 24

hence 24 is the correct answer....

u can also remember it by theorem of multiplication as.....in first place (I.e. first code can be any no. out of 4,5,2&7 ....so 4*.....

as first place is acquired by a certain no. that leaves three no. to fill third place and when third place I'd occupied it leaves 2 numbers to fill second place and lastly only one no. to fill the last place .....so it's result will be like 4*3*2*1.

I know this is pretty much confusing ....but still I tried my best....

if anything troubles u here feel free to ask me
