LiRa [457]

I think that <u><em>The Hunger Games</em></u> by Suzanne Collins is a great book. It tells of a fictitious world in which the citizens of Panem fight to stay alive under the control of a powerful merciless government. Because of a long ago event, where the citizens of Panem grew angry at the Capital, and started a protest, the Capital has been ruthless, intent on forever punishing the Panemians (not an actual word). They developed a cunning way to keep the citizens of Panem in check, by forcing them to sacrifice two children from each district, to fight to the death in an arena. The winner would then be transported home, with food for the entire district. The losing districts would stay hungry and poor. This was a good way for the Capital to keep the districts from rising up against the Capital again, because they were pitted against each other.

Lots of secrets and interesting facts are revealed in each book in <u><em>The Hunger Games</em></u> and the other two books in the triology. This is a great book for all ages.

Hope this helps! Please let me know if you need more help, or if you think my answer is incorrect. Brainliest would be MUCH appreciated. Have a great day!

Stay Brainy!

The professor was making reference to Kara's inability to effectively use <u>"critical thinking".</u>

Critical thinking is a rich idea that has been creating all through the previous 2500 years. The expression "critical thinking" has its underlying foundations in the mid-late twentieth century. We offer here covering definitions, together which frame a substantive, transdisciplinary origination of critical thinking.

Critical thinking is the intellectually trained procedure of effectively and skillfully conceptualizing, applying, breaking down, incorporating, or potentially assessing data assembled from, or produced by, perception, encounter, reflection, thinking, or correspondence, as a manual for conviction and activity.

Which of the following statements regarding the future of populations in developing, less industrialized countries are correct?
Verdich [7]

Answer:

II) Survivorship will increase.

III) Overall population size will increase dramatically.

IV) The fertility rate is predicted to remain high, especially in some regions

Explanation:

The least industrialized or developing countries have a very high birth rate. This is because these countries have ineffective public policies in relation to the labor market and health. Many of its inhabitants have little access to information and sex education, as well as low access to effective contraceptive methods, which makes the birth rate in these countries very high. This will cause the size of the population to grow dramatically, especially in less industrialized and modern regions. As a result, the country's survival rate will increase considerably, since its citizens will exist in large numbers.
