Answer:
(5x² +7x -26) units²
Step-by-step explanation:

Area of shaded region
= Area of larger rectangle -area of smaller rectangle
Area of larger rectangle
= (3x -4)(2x +2)
= 3x(2x) +3x(2) -4(2x) -4(2) (Expand)
= 6x² +6x -8x -8
= 6x² -2x -8
Area of smaller rectangle
= (x -6)(x -3)
= x² -3x -6x +18 (Expand)
= x² -9x +18
Area of shaded region
= 6x² -2x -8 -(x² -9x +18)
= 6x² -2x -8 -x² +9x -18
= 5x² +7x -26
Answer:
y=3/2
Step-by-step explanation:
This line's slope is perpendicular to -2/3 and its y intercept is 0.
Answer:
Part B: 8 and 2 (more answers ofc)
Part C: Two more dots on 6 (more than one answer tho)
Step-by-step explanation:
Part B:
The added number of dots is 39 at the beginning and the mean is 3.9. (39/10). Since we have to add 2 dots the equation will be (39 + ? + ?) / 12 = Less than 3.9. We also need the range to increase. This means that one of the blanks must be larger than 7 (the largest dot on the dot plot!) I just went with 8 to keep the mean as small as possible. This leaves 1 more blank to figure out. There are multiple answers to this problem but I went with 2 just because then the mean would be 3.5 a better answer than something like 3.58333333333.
Part C:
If you think about it all the dots added up should be 6x12 = 72. Currently all the dots add up to 60. 72-60 is 12. This means that 12 is equal to 2 dots. I guess you could also do 5 and 7, 8 and 4, etc.
G'day

The structures of chemical compounds are influenced by complex factors, such as bond angles and bond length.Encyclopædia Britannica, Inc.All the matter in the universe is composed of the atoms of more than 100 different chemical elements, which are found both in pure form and combined in chemical compounds. A sample of any given pure element is composed only of the atoms characteristic of that element, and the atoms of each element are unique. For example, the atoms that constitute carbon are different from those that make up iron, which are in turn different from those of gold. Every element is designated by a unique symbol consisting of one, two, or three letters arising from either the current element name or its original (often Latin) name. For example, the symbols for carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen are simply C, H, and O, respectively. The symbol for iron is Fe, from its original Latin name ferrum. The fundamental principle of the science of chemistry is that the atoms of different elements can combine with one another to form chemical compounds. Methane, for example, which is formed from the elements carbon and hydrogen in the ratio four hydrogen atoms for each carbon atom, is known to contain distinct CH4 molecules. The formula of a compound—such as CH4—indicates the types of atoms present, with subscripts representing the relative numbers of atoms (although the numeral 1 is never written).
