Because one of Hatshepsut's major achievements was expanding the trade routes of Ancient Egypt. Most notably was an expedition to the Land of Punt, which became a major trade partner supplying Egypt with gold, resin, wood, ivory, and wild animals. First, Hatshepsut was the first women to rule as a pharaoh. Soon after he became pharaoh, he led an army into battle against the Hittic (an enemy). No one won but Ramses established a treaty and was the first know peace treaty in world history. Having one ruler for 66 years made the Egyptian government stable.
