Research suggest that people are less likely to become repeat offenders if they stay out of the prison system. Why do you think
kondaur [170]

Answer:

Yes prison breeds criminal minds

Step-by-step explanation:

When you send a person to a house filled with just criminals they will just become more criminal minded. If they spend a long time in the prison system too the person will forget how life outside was. It will be like sending a child into the outside world except with a ton of knowledge on how to rob and stuff like that.The american prison system is one of the shadiest systems to be created in my opinion.Its a system built for you to come back over and over.Usually when you get out u have less opportunities for a job.Forget about having a career if you went to prison for literally anything.Your family might disown you or forget you. Its just heartbreaking to see prisoners come out of jail just to have even less opportunity to change their life than before they went. It will get to a point where you need to do crime to survive or live comftorably on the outside world. The american prison system is just built to get revenge on someone and ruin their whole life. I know some European countries have an amazing prison system where they fix you and give you opportunities to become better. Thing is in america we dont want to help the guy that scammed or killed a friend of ours. We just end up hoping their life is miserable and thats our prison system.Its absolutely disgusting.Instead of heavily punishing these people and sending them into the world without help. We should help them and make them better people for our society.Im sorry if this is very disorganized and hard to understand i just wrote what my mind blurted into this keyboard

The sample space has 36 possible pairs from 1,1 1,2 1,3 up to 6,5 and 6,6

(a). Three pairs add to 4 1,3 2,2 and 3,1 so P(4) = 3/36 = 1/12

(b). 6 pairs add to 7 so P(7) = 6/36 = 1/6

(c) 15 pairs add to less than 7 so P(<7) = 15/36 = 5/12

Find the measure of angle eight in each triangle round each answer to the nearest 10th
vlada-n [284]

Answer:

# m∠A = 65.3°

# m∠A = 25.8°

# m∠A = 22.7°

Step-by-step explanation:

* Lets revise the trigonometry function to solve the problem

- In any right angle triangle:

# The side opposite to the right angle is called the hypotenuse

# The other two sides are called the legs of the right angle

* If the name of the triangle is ABC, where B is the right angle

∴ The hypotenuse is AC

∴ AB and BC are the legs of the right angle

- ∠A and ∠C are two acute angles

- For angle A

# sin(A) = opposite/hypotenuse

∵ The opposite to ∠A is BC

∵ The hypotenuse is AC

∴ sin(A) = BC/AC

# cos(A) = adjacent/hypotenuse

∵ The adjacent to ∠A is AB

∵ The hypotenuse is AC

∴ cos(A) = AB/AC

# tan(A) = opposite/adjacent

∵ The opposite to ∠A is BC

∵ The adjacent to ∠A is AB

∴ tan(A) = BC/AB

* Lets solve the problems

# In Δ ABC

∵ m∠B = 90°

∵ AB = 2.3 ⇒ adjacent to angle A

∵ BC = 5 ⇒ apposite to angle A

- To find m∠A use the tangent function because we have opposite

  and adjacent sides

∴ tan A = BC/AB

∴ tan A = 5/2.3 ⇒ use tan^-1 to find m∠A

∴ m∠A = tan^{-1}\frac{5}{2.3}=65.29756

* m∠A = 65.3°

# In Δ ABD

∵ m∠B = 90°

∵ AB = 5.4 ⇒ adjacent to angle A

∵ DA = 6 ⇒ the hypotenuse

- To find m∠A use the cosine function because we have adjacent

  and hypotenuse sides

∴ cos A = AB/DA

∴ cos A = 5.4/6 ⇒ use cos^-1 to find m∠A

∴ m∠A = cos^{-1}\frac{5.4}{6}=25.84193

* m∠A = 25.8°

# In Δ ABE

∵ m∠B = 90°

∵ EB = 2.4 ⇒ opposite to angle A

∵ EA = 6.8 ⇒ the hypotenuse

- To find m∠A use the sine function because we have opposite

  and hypotenuse sides

∴ sin A = EB/EA

∴ sin A = 2.4/6.8 ⇒ use sin^-1 to find m∠A

∴ m∠A = sin^{-1}\frac{2.4}{6.8}=22.6673

* m∠A = 22.7°
