Pineapple:cherry:mango = 9:1:2
Pineapple = 9x
Cherry = x
Mango = 2x

Cherry = 19, so x=19
9x+x+2x = 171+19+38 = 228 bottles

True [87]
Students total 43430
5742 students more

43430-5742=37688

37688/2 = 18844

ANSWER
Country 1 : 18,844 students

Country 2 : 24,586 students

Explanation: By taking away the 5742 students you set them off to the side. Leaving you with a new sum. You then divide the sum by the number of countries (2). Add the remainder of the students to one of the countries.

How do I determine if a limit exist considering how it looks on a graph? Can I determine if a limit exists solely from the graph
Allushta [10]

Answer: See below

Step-by-step explanation:

1. At x=1, the limit does not exist. If you see an open circle on the graph like you do here, you know that the function is discontinuous. This graph actually shows a jump discontinuity at x=1.

2.  You can determine if a limit exists by solely looking at the graph. Unfortunately in this case, f(1)=1 and \lim_{x \to \ 1^-} f(x) are not equal to each other. Therefore, the limit does not exist.
