If e is the electric field near an infinite sheet of charge and E is electric field between two similarly charged parallel plate
PolarNik [594]

Answer:

* the two plates of the same sign  E = 0

* the two plates of different sign    E/e = 2

Explanation:

In this exercise, the relationship between the field created by a plate and two infinite plates is asked.

The electric field created by each plate has the value of "e", which is related to the charge on the electric plate.

                 e = \frac{ \sigma }{2 \epsilon_o}

If the plate is negative the electric field is directed towards the plate and if the plate is positive the electric field is directed out of the plate.

The test charge is always positive.

When we have two plates, we have several possibilities

* the two plates of the same sign

therefore the resulting electric field on the test charge is

              E_total = e - e

              E = 0

* the two plates of different sign

              E_total = e + e

               E = 2 e

the relationship between the two fields is

             E/e = 2

What is the mass of a 100-N crate of delicious candy
Svetach [21]

Answer:

Explanation:

weight ( w ) = 100 N

mass (m) = ?

WE know

g = 10 m/s²

w = m * g

or

m = w / g

m = 100 / 10

m = 10 kg

hope it will help :)

A cat stalks an unsuspecting mouse. The movement of the cat is shown in the following graph of the horizontal position, x, again
stellarik [79]

Answer:

0.25 m/s

Explanation:

Average velocity = change in displacement / change in time

v = (1.5 m − 2.5 m) / (6 s − 2 s)

v = -0.25 m/s

The average speed is 0.25 m/s.

You apply a constant 15 N force while pushing a box through a distance of 2.5 m across the floor.
VMariaS [17]

Answer:

Total work done  =force X displacement                      = 15 N X 2.5 m       [ given  F=15 N & d=2.5 m]                W   = 37.5 joules

Explanation:

this is just what i was able to find

Work is the product of
Mkey [24]
You have to separate out Choice 2 from the top and the last one down. The other 2 are incorrect.

The formula is Work = Force * distance.
Distance in physics is well defined. It is a change in location. But if it is spinning on an axis, the axis at least is not changing location. I'm pick the second one down.
