In an age defined by access to information what happens to people who are not online?

Unfortunately, they tend to be left unaware of important news and events, at least until they receive the information through traditional means. Recent developments in various fields of study would also be out of their reach until they're published in other media.

Individuals that lack access to online services generally don't learn of things that have to do with society, or social issues such as politics, certain history and lack of education.However it's generally lack of social knowledge.
