500 total magazines...

Amy sold 1/9......1/9(500) = 500/9 = 55.5
Garret sold 0.145.....0.145(500) = 72.5
Robbie sold 12/100.....0.12(500) = 60
Carlita sold 0.095.....0.095(500) = 47.5

Garret sold the most

or u could have done it this way...
Amy sold 1/9.....1/9 = 11.1%
Garret sold 0.145 = 14.5%
Robbie sold 12/100.....12/100 = 12%
Carlita sold 0.095....0.095 = 9.5%

u will still get the same answer...Garret

Convert all of them into fractions.
Amy - 1/9
Robbie - 3/25
Garret - 29/200
Carlita - 19/200
What is the common denominator?
1800
Change the denominators.
Amy - 200/1800
Robbie - 216/1800
Garret - 261/1800
Carlita - 171/1800
Since Garret's fraction is the greatest, Garret sold the most papers.

A standard six-sided die was rolled a number of times, and the results were recorded in the table below. Use this information to
Maru [420]

Answer:

<em></em>P(Even) = 0.547<em></em>

<em></em>

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

\begin{array}{ccccccc}{Sides} & {1} & {2} & {3} & {4} & {5} & {6} \ \\ {Freq} & {42} & {51} & {39} & {52} & {44} & {48} \ \end{array}

Required

P(Even)

The even sides are: 2, 4, 6

So:

P(Even) = P(2) + P(4) + P(6)

This is then calculated as:

P(Even) = \frac{n(2)}{Total} + \frac{n(4)}{Total} + \frac{n(6)}{Total}

Replace n(2), n(4), n(6) with their frequencies

P(Even) = \frac{51}{Total} + \frac{52}{Total} + \frac{48}{Total}

The total frequency is:

Total =42+51+39+52+44+48

Total =276

So:

P(Even) = \frac{51}{Total} + \frac{52}{Total} + \frac{48}{Total}

P(Even) = \frac{51}{276} + \frac{52}{276} + \frac{48}{276}

Take LCM

P(Even) = \frac{51+52+48}{276}

P(Even) = \frac{151}{276}

<em></em>P(Even) = 0.547<em> --- approximated</em>

What is the measure of each exterior angle for a regular hexagon?
siniylev [52]
<h3>Answer: C) 60</h3>

Explanation:

There are n = 6 sides in a regular hexagon, so each exterior angle is E = 360/n = 360/6 = 60

The rule E = 360/n only works for regular polygons with n sides, which means the polygons must have all sides the same length and all angles the same value.

Whats the the first three sequence of n-4
Elan Coil [88]

Answer:

Therefore, the first three term of the sequence is:

  • a_1\:=\:-3
  • a_2\:=\:-2
  • a_3\:=\:-1

Hence, the sequence is:

-3, -2, -1, ...

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the nth term

a_{n} = n-4

The first three terms can be obtained by putting n=1, n=2 and n=3 respectively in the given nth term

Putting n=1 to get the first term

a_1\:=\:1-4

a_1\:=\:-3

Putting n=2 to get the second term

a_2\:=\:2-4\:\:

a_2\:=\:-2

Putting n=3 to get the three term

a_3\:=\:3-4\:

a_3\:=\:-1

Therefore, the first three term of the sequence is:

  • a_1\:=\:-3
  • a_2\:=\:-2
  • a_3\:=\:-1

Hence, the sequence is:

-3, -2, -1, ...
