500 total magazines...

Amy sold 1/9......1/9(500) = 500/9 = 55.5
Garret sold 0.145.....0.145(500) = 72.5
Robbie sold 12/100.....0.12(500) = 60
Carlita sold 0.095.....0.095(500) = 47.5

Garret sold the most

or u could have done it this way...
Amy sold 1/9.....1/9 = 11.1%
Garret sold 0.145 = 14.5%
Robbie sold 12/100.....12/100 = 12%
Carlita sold 0.095....0.095 = 9.5%

u will still get the same answer...Garret

Convert all of them into fractions.
Amy - 1/9
Robbie - 3/25
Garret - 29/200
Carlita - 19/200
What is the common denominator?
1800
Change the denominators.
Amy - 200/1800
Robbie - 216/1800
Garret - 261/1800
Carlita - 171/1800
Since Garret's fraction is the greatest, Garret sold the most papers.

Find the greatest common factor of 12a^3b, 16a^2b^2, and 36ab^3
scoundrel [369]

<u>Answer: </u>

The greatest common factor of 12 a^{3} b, 16 a^{2} b^{2}, 36 a b^{3} \text { is } 4 a b

<u>Solution: </u>

To find the greatest common factor we have to find the prime factors of individual numbers and then find the number which is common to each given number.

Here the numbers are 12 a^{3} b, 16 a^{2} b^{2}, 36 a b^{3}

Let us find out the prime factors of each number .

\begin{array}{l}{\text { Prime factors of } 12 a^{3} b=2 \times 2 \times 3 \times a \times a \times a \times b} \\ {\text { Prime factors of } 16 a^{2} b^{2}=2 \times 2 \times 2 \times 2 \times a \times a \times a \times b \times b} \\ {\text { Prime factors of } 36 a b^{3}=2 \times 2 \times 3 \times 3 \times a \times b \times b \times b}\end{array}

We can see that 2 \times 2 \times \mathrm{a} \times \mathrm{b}  is common to all the given numbers 12 a^{3} b, 16 a^{2} b^{2}, 36 a b^{3}

Therefore the greatest common factor of 12 a^{3} b, 16 a^{2} b^{2}, 36 a b^{3} \text { is } 2 \times 2 \times a \times b=4 a b

I need this question answered plz help.
wel

Answer:

a.12/13

Step-by-step explanation:

  • FORMULA: sine of an angle in a triangle is given by, \frac{opposite side's length}{length of the hypotenuse}
  • here, in the given triangle PQR, for angle 'p'

opposite side= QR

adjacent side= PQ

hypotenuse=PR

  • Therefore, sine of angle p= \frac{QR length}{PR length}  = \frac{12}{13}
  • Thus, by using the above given formula, the sine of angle p in the triangle PQR is 12/13.
  • hence, the trigonometric formulas as mentioned above should be remembered for sure to solve these type of problems
