When 1 mol of Cr2O3 has 2 mol of Cr, So we can easily get the number of moles of Cr in 2.16 mol of CrO3 by:
Cr     → Cr2O3
2 mol→ 1 Mol
X      → 2.16 Mol
So X (the no. of mol of Cr ) = 2 Mol * 2.16 Mol = 4.32 Mol

Answer:There are 4.32 moles of Cr in 2.16 moles of Cr_2O_3.

Explanation:

Moles of Cr_2O_3 = 2moles

In one molecule of Cr_2O_3 there are 2 atoms of Cr.

Then in 1 Mole of Cr_2O_3 contains = 2 moles of Cr

Number of moles of Cr in 2.16 moles of Cr_2O_3=2\times 2.16 =4.32 moles of Cr.

There are 4.32 moles of Cr in 2.16 moles of Cr_2O_3.

Rank these compounds by their expected boiling point? CH4 CH3Cl CH3OH? Lowest to highest; 10+ for the best explanation. Thank yo
docker41 [41]
Methane, CH4, would have the lowest boiling point among the three since it has the lowest number of carbon and has no functional groups. Methanol would have the highest boiling point since it has a functional group which contains hydrogen bonding which much stronger than the one in CH3Cl. Hope this helps.

Two springs have different spring constants. How could you identify the spring with the greater spring constant value?
Darya [45]
The spring constant determines how far the spring will stretch for a given applied force: F=kx→k=Fx. If we place the same mass on the two springs, which means we have placed the same force on them, the one that stretches least has the largest spring constant.
Hope this helps!

At 800 K, the equilibrium constant, Kp, for the following reaction is 3.2 × 10–7. 2 H2S(g) ⇌ 2 H2(g) + S2(g) A reaction vessel a
djverab [1.8K]

Answer:

0.008945 atm

Explanation:

In the reaction:

2H2S(g) ⇌ 2 H2(g) + S2(g)

Kp is defined as:

Kp = P_{H_{2}}^2P_{S_{2}} / P_{H_{2}S}^2

Where P is the pressure of each compound in equilibrium.

If initial pressure of H2S is 3.00atm, concentrations in equilibrium are:

H2S = 3.00 atm - 2X

H2 = 2X

S2: = X

Replacing:

3.2x10^{-7} = (2X)^2X / (3-2X)^2

3.2x10^{-7} = 4X^3 / 9- 6X+4X^2

0 = 4X³ - 1.28x10⁻⁶X² + 1.92x10⁻⁶X - 2.88x10⁻⁶

Solving for X:

X = 0.008945 atm

As in equilibrium, pressure of S2 is X, pressure is 0.008945 atm
